Hi
I just bought the product:

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=769226C4A5CA7304

to put into my iMac, which already has 2x4gb in it. To insert it into the Mac, do I just unscrew that little panel on the bottom and insert it in? Do I need to use any kind of static protection/not wear any specific clothes/shoes? Should I have left the computer off for a certain amount of time before hand? Am I okay doing it on a wood desk? Or soft material? When I upgraded a Dell desktop, I did all the static stuff but I'm not sure with a simply RAM upgrade for an iMac.

Thanks in advanced.

Sam

Just unscrew the pannel, insert it, and screw it back in. It's that easy. (Tip: Try not to knock your Mac over accidentally!)
