Thin iPad 2 Sleeve + Waterfield MBA Sleevecase

I have the SFbags Waterfield Sleevecase for the MBA in the vertical position for my backpack.

There is a pocket on the back of the Sleevecase that can hold the iPad 2 but I feel like the material would scratch the iPad 2. Has anyone used the pocket to carry the iPad?? What is the thinnest sleeve that that be placed into this pocket where i can easily slip the iPad in to and carry my MBA and iPad??
