I Dont want to Keep having to leave my Mac on And itunes open, Just to Stream content. Im Willing to do anything 🙂

Z ZStation macrumors member Jul 12, 2011 #2 Yes, but you'll have to Jailbreak and install something like XBMC. I run XBMC on my ATV2, and all my media is held on my Time Capsule and also on my Windows server.

Z ZStation macrumors member Jul 12, 2011 #6 Yes. Just be aware XBMC is still in beta on the ATV2, and some stuff is very much broken. The version I have doesn't play music, for example. I'm sure there's a newer version, but I haven't updated in months as I just use the ATV2 for videos.
