It's about time.

It's time to stay home and spend some time with his family.
 
He looked very ill at the last keynote. It was distracting and you could feel the shock of the audience in the auditorium.

I wish him all the best, and hope Apple can continue to innovate and sustain momentum and vision without Steve at the helm. (once they stop blowing all the billions in the ciphers on expensive law suits).

🙁 🙁 an inevitable but Sad day.
 
I hope you will be well Steve. Thank you for your huge contribution to our world. Very sad to see you leave Apple. Again.

I could think of a more selfish reaction to this story, but I would have to think for a long time to come up with it. 🙁

Steve Jobs as the Chairman of the Board at Apple might be better than Steve Jobs as CEO. More ideas, less micromanaging.
Tim Cook will do a fine job.
 
Woah. I wonder how much stock will fall, but I'm pretty sure it'll go back up. He's leaving Apple in a good spot, both financially and product-wise, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

He'll still be part of Apple, and I wonder how much he'll still contribute.
