Apple Outs "iPhone 4S" Name in Latest iTunes Beta

I dont believe it, it would make ZERO sense to call the new iphone the 4S esp since Apple has delayed the phone this long. Not to mention it being the 5th Gen phone, using the A5 chip and it being IOS5 would be too perfect. 555 it would be stupid to call it the iphone 4S esp when Apple got back to the correct Gen number. If they called this the iphone 4s that means the next phone would be the iphone 6 and it would confuse everyone looking for the 5
The only way an iphone is called the iphone 4s would be if is the rumored cheaper iphone and they come out with two phones. A cheaper iphone 4s and the redesigned normal price iphone

Apple's gotta be toying with us. This industry moves way too fast for Apple not to upgrade their phone substantially over a year and a half. After the 4 got leaked early last year, apple probably cracked down even further on keeping the 5 a secret this year.
No matter what it's called, 4S or the 5, it's still the 5th generation phone. But I have a feeling apple has something in the works that none of us know about.

Well that's good.
It means we get at least the 4S and maybe a 5.
In any case the likelihood of a cheaper unlocked version is much higher if there is a 4S as if there was only an iPhone5. There was a rumor a while ago that a unlocked 4S would be $349 insted of $599.

What makes it worse is that they still have that stupid black line that ruins the front of the phone. I know it's the sensor bar. But makes the white phone look ugly.
If this is the only phone they show case on Tuesday, will be staying with the iPhone4, a speed bump is not worth it for me.

Why would they call it a 4S? It's the fifth phone so the next - sixth one will be called an iPhone 5? Also I think it would be better selling, if they named it an iPhone 5.

Without getting too crazy I'll just flat out say that I think Apple sees that the iPhone 4S has been outed already on the rumor sites from the leaked label screens and decided to go ahead and put it in the latest iTunes beta which they conveniently release today. iPhone 5 is still the big surprise that will be coming Tuesday. /tinfoilhat
edit: In all honesty I am getting pretty exhausted reading these mixed rumors about the 4S/5 everyday, almost 24/7 (hey, i can't help it).. Can't wait for Tuesday...

I feel a disturbance in the force... as if millions of we Apple fanboys cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.....
Apple has been just this dumb many times in the past.
Personally, I will be extremely disappointed if this is what Apple did with the 'extra' 4 months.

All they've done is confirmed the 4S. That's one half the story. I'd love to know where people are reading the invisible "There won't be an iPhone 5". I can't see it.
