Glad to see that some other stores in the DC Metro Area had a bit more of a tribute than the one at Pentagon City that I left my tribute at.

By chance passed an outdoor Apple store after dark last night and noticed the Apple was not lit?

Yes...... It reminds me of how on Broadway, the theaters always simultaneously turn off their lights for a given period in honor of one of their own who has passed on.

As utterly odd as that sounds my friend, you're not alone ... I know the exact feeling. Steve once said that the software is the soul of an Apple product, but you know what ... each and every one of them has a little piece of his inside too.

iTribute ...



Steve profoundly changed my view of technology. He turned me from a geeky tech. person into someone who began to appreciate the true goal of technology - making it seamless and invisible ..

Outside the Main Campus near the Company Store...It's very quiet at Apple...but business as usual.

Yes..... My iPhone and my iPad 2 are now both sporting one of my favorite photos of Steve on the lock screen, while the older iPads are wearing an image I saw here or somewhere of the familiar Finder faces, now with sad, downturned mouths and a teardrop..... I'm thinking that I might just keep that photo of Steve on the iPhone and the iPad 2 forever; it just seems fitting, somehow.

I posted this on the Michigan Ave. Apple Store here in Chicago, IL. I grew up in Southern California and Apple products have helped me tremendously in my lifetime.
