iPhones have more internal memory than phones at the same price point (generally).

 Iphone wants you to get NOT more than what you paid for
Pay them 10gb of storage money they'll make sure it never goes 20gb
Iphone also has a "closed" app development policy - I mean apple.
all IOS apps have to be apple certified unless you can outsmart them like Cydia did.

Does the iPhone 4 take micro-SD cards for extra storage of media?

On my old Voyager it took a card which I now use in my camcorder. This is how Apple really screws you and we all accept it. Why? They make top notch products which nobody else has.
Still, they could put a card in, but we would hate to see them lose money.

No iPhone has ever had the ability to add additional storage. Would obviate the need for 16/32/64 models.

Cheers,

<> I stumbled when I was looking around for some way to expand the my iphone
storage from 10g "istorage" ( this time read i as in idiot ) to 32gb "sStorage" ( read "s" as in smart) and did'nt really read the expiration date on the label.
Btw iexpander is very promising ...and they put themselves on pause because paypal is not too friendly with them? .....anyone wanting to take em over is gonna make bombshell.

<> Older the wine better the taste. Sometimes some threads are just left out there to mature so that we can come back again for some wine -tasting.
Its quicker those Napa valley trips .....
:)
I did not mean to bite :apple:.....hopefully

No iPhone ever has since the original in 2007, then the 3g in 2008, or the 3GS in 2009, or the 4 in 2010, even the 4S in 2011, or the 5 in 2012.

We are not sure if it ever will going forward, but Steve Jobs was not a fan of doing this, so not sure they ever will especially if Jony Ive continues Steve's traditions

Yes it does. Pull the Sim tray and push the micro SD card in first, then put the Sim tray back

LOLWUT!?

Are you trying to say that you can put a Micro SD card into the Micro-SIM tray and have it work?

This is one of the low points of the iPhone, however the storage options available should be more than enough for most people. Still, it'd be nice to have that extra option.
