iPhone 4S Drop Test (Spoiler: It Breaks)

UnitediPhoneRepair posted a clip of a iPhone 4S "drop test". Of course, the iPhone 4S shares the same external design as the iPhone 4, and yes, it still breaks when dropped on its glass screen.

wonder if they're hoping to use Applecare+ for a return. Would be hilarious if somehow they linked this video up and denied based on intentional damage. (though obviously no chance of that really happening)

A phone should survive a fall like that. It's ridiculous that it breaks so easily.

Really? A face down drop on concrete?

It survived the first 4-5 foot drop onto concrete. That is not bad.

I have had plastic phones shatter from less of a drop or at the least broken a battery door latch off.

Yes a glass screen makes any ohone fragile to an extent, but for everyday use these are more durable than you should expect.

Accidnts happen but take care of your expensive devices and be prepared for accidents.

for what it's worth, for an iPhone repair shop, that's just like a $50 part.
