iPod ipod nano 6g accelerometer data

Is it possible to get acces to raw accelerometer data?
Or is there any solution to record data from accelerometer?

I've tried to google it, but didn't get any succecs.

There seems to be some ways to 'hack' the nano. I'm wondering if it's possible to get acces to accelerometer that way.

Read this guy's blog. He's a forum member and this is the only reference that I've ever run across.

I've never tried it, but I suppose that you'd at least have to have the nano set in "drive" mode.
