No OTA update available for either my 4S or iPad 1 as of right now in TX.

OTA working now on my iPhone 4 with Verizon. If it doesn't show up, restart your phone.

They are, when you update OTA. When you download from iTunes, you are downloading the entire thing.

and I just updated 20 new iPads to 5.0 yesterday and this morning 🙁

edit:delta update (OTA) not showing yet for me

delta updates OTA not in iTunes. that was clearly said in the keynote. 🙄

Did they say iTunes updates would be like that? The OTA download is smaller.

I think you need to be on wifi. I did that that an now it's available.

Only 55mb

This is silly.

Looks like I'll be using the hotspot feature of my phone to update the wifes iPhone 4 using my HSDPA connection over wifi. 😡

I wonder if they are doing that cause they couldn't get an agreement on download limit exclusion with the carriers. Which for us folks with unlimited, blows...

That's what I'm hoping... Luckily, I've had great battery life compared to my old 3GS but I wouldn't mind more. Unfortunately, it's unlikely: probably we just weren't triggering the bug so no benefit for us from the bug fix.

finally showed OTA on ipad as well!...download on ipad is smaller (38.5mb) than on iphone4 which was 44mb approx.

I am currently downloading 5.0.1 on AT&T US iphone 4s. It was a delta though wifi =)

thats weird because during the betas, you could download over 3g just fine. when they released the first ota beta update for iOS 5 (i think beta 3), it took only like 3-5 min to download over 3g. it was like 110mb if i remember correctly.
