Steam status question

Hey guys,

Those of you who have Steam, do you notice that your status gets set to 'Away' even if you're at your Mac, but don't touch the Steam window? It's REALLY annoying, as I'm not away, I'm online, but it continually sets my status to Away or Snooze for no reason, but when I touch the client window/friends my status goes back to Online.

Is there anybody that can help me with this?

That sounds like a little bit of internet trouble...maybe with the router or something. As far as the problem being with Steam, I don't normally use it on line at all, I just use it to run any games I have that require it, currently just Portal, by Valve.

I did not notice it. After launched the game, normally I do not check my status. This may be a Steam settings issue.
