Just a thought - there's no trial for SWTOR, but is there a free demo of some other recent game I could download, just to see if my system can handle some basic 3D graphics?

I'm not familiar with what is out there, so would appreciate some recommendations! I know SWTOR uses some weird/new game engine, but there must be a few demos that would give my system a work out.

iMac, mid-2007: 2.4 Ghz Core 2 duo, 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB of GDDR3 memory.

So, old, in other words. Meets SWTOR minimum requirements, but only just. Which is why I don't want to buy it and not be able to play it.

The performance of SWTOR is very curious IMO. My laptop can play Skyrim on lows around ~30FPS, SC2 at a decent FPS as well on low, 60+, but SWTOR it is all around from 10-45FPS on all lows. I guess that's the nature of MMO's and rendering busy towns etc but it's not really as good as I hoped considering SC2 and Skyrim performance.
