Oh noooo Apple must really be in dire straights if they are offering their phones for free.

/end sarcasm

That comment was directed towards a few people that insist when any android phone is sold for .01 or drastically reduced that it's the phone manufacturer (not the retail store) giving the deal and trying to push out phones.

It's also directed at the ones that insist that if phones are given away cheaply - they must suck.

/end pointing out obvious

The subject line for this email was very misleading, it simply said, "TODAY ONLY: Free Apple iPhone 4 with 2-year activation" so I sent it to a few of my clamshell and/or droid friends without realizing it was BOGO, and not just completely free with the contract ...

So, you are saying one should read the information and gather facts before jumping to conclusions?

AWWW, ****!!

I paid $1 when I got the 2ed iPhone!

:rolleyes::p

I took advantage of the $1 offer for 2x 4's, and a 3GS too.
3 for $200, still not bad :D
