In Han Chinese tradition the color red represents luck among other things.

And don't worry, Green Friday is right around the corner, where Apple will throw in a free windmill with every Mac purchase!! Don't miss out on this opportunity!

Can we call someone who buys an Apple product the Friday before a new release a victim of Blue Friday?

....no....? yeah, sounded better in my head.

The number 8 is, not exactly 88. 8 sounds like the Chinese character 發 part of the word 發財.

$430 is indeed a gamble but the items will always have a combine value of more than $430.

The fun is on who will get the best deals worth way higher.

No black Friday deals. That's an American tradition.

As I pointed out in my post, many non-thanksgiving celebrating countries got the black friday deals.

Currently South Korea
Korean Apple Store

Hey Guys,

This deal looks like its valid for Korea too. Its not mentioned in the original article, but that banner is on the Korean store site. I can't read Hangul, but the banner looks similar and the dates correspond.

Update: This is the Google translation: "Next Friday, Apple Online Store just to visit.
Anyone want to receive iPad, iPod, Mac, and can arrange for a gift is a very remarkable day.
In the meantime, Apple Online Store Find a nice gift idea."

Just my luck that I just bought an airport express 2 days ago, not knowing about this deal...ffs. Anyways, hope its helpful.
