Accessing a USB hard drive wirelessly

I would like to have my macbook pro access a USB hard drive that my mac mini is using. is this possible? if so how can you do it? My idea is:

Hard-drive->mac mini->router->macbookpro

mac sense?

share the USB drive off the mini and access it from the network. bada bing - done.

And exactly how do you achieve sharing the USB drive off the mini? Thats what I'm asking to do.

I think the initial problem is you asked "is it possible". The answer to that is a simple "yes."

How to do it is a separate question. Off the top of my head, I don't know the steps.

Hopefully someone will chime in with the "how" answer.
