Crap photo, but there's about 60 or so queuing outside as of just now (7.25pm).

All the guys in yellow are from Otterbox handing out branded blankets!

I just got back from the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue. For preorders, I was the only one in the preorder line, which was awesome. For those who didn't preorder and were waiting in the regular line, there were at least 300-500 people waiting in line above ground, but it seemed to move fast. Inside the store itself, there were hundreds of people. However, I think this time the launch day event was much more organized than past launch day events. Since I had a preorder, I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes.

There were tons of news media crews out in front of the Apple store, filming everyone as they walked out.

Here are photos of the NYC Fifth Avenue store as of 11:30am.

Nice. Too bad I didn't know they'd have a separate pre-order line (there was no separate line for iPhone 4S reservations). I'm close to the 5th Avenue store. Instead, my iPad is on a FedEx truck in the Bronx, delayed until as late as 10:00pm.

Anyway, which model did you get? Wi-Fi, Verizon, or AT&T? I'm interested to here how well AT&T's LTE network works (though I opted for the Verizon one).
