Hello,
I'm thinking of asking a friend who is in America at the moment to get me AppleCare for my new iPad. But unless I'm missing something, the only AppleCare available direct from Apple now is AppleCare+, am I right?
Apple don't sell this in Australia, so I'm wondering if I would still get standard AppleCare coverage in Aus if I buy AC+ from US?

Thanks

AppleCare+ isn't valid in Australia, so you'd be wasting your money. AppleCare (the non-plus version) is region-specific, so why wouldn't you just buy AC in Australia and eliminate any issues with warranty validity from the start?

Applecare is region specific? I thought it was valid internationally?

I was hoping to get it from America because I can get it much cheaper there.
