So, I picked a Verizon new iPad up launch day. Set up the 4g account that night and used it just like I did my iPad 2. Hooked to wifi at home and on cellular data duting the day for some lunchtime (maybe a little bit other than lunch too )forum browsing, etc. after 3 days I'm up to 695 MB usage! This is using the log in Cellular Data counter. Using the one in General-Usage-Cellular data says 1.3 gig!
I guess I just didnt fully consider how much data it would take to drive the bigger display or something.
I typically will use the maps while I'm driving (have to travel a couple hours 1 or 2 days a week for work. I guess it's back to the iPhone for that as it is always downloading the highest res maps so you can zoom. Of course, driving by you don't need them. It would be nice to have a switch for it not to do that.
I'm going to probably have to up it to the 5gig plan to actually use this thing like I'm used to.
