Hi,

I once had a strawberry iMac DV :apple: (400 MHz, slot-loading, purchased 1999), and OS X 10.1(?) had some wallpapers that played off the candy flavored iMac designs -- strawberry, blueberry, grape, tangerine, lime, and graphite. The wallpaper texture even seemed to mimic some of the funky air circulation holes that at the back of the machine.

If you have an iMac from that era with those wallpapers, would you be willing to send me copies of those image files? I'd love to put them on my iPhone.

Thanks!
Doug

I can do that when I get home from work.

I think these are the ones you're referring to. These probably originally appeared with MacOS 8.6 or 9.0 but have been gleaned from MacOS 9.2.2

These are from the group called "Ensemble Pictures". I've grouped them by year due to the zip file size limit imposed on the forum.

Enjoy

Yay! That's so awesome - the 1999 wallpapers were the ones I was thinking of, but the other ones are great!

Thanks, MacTech68!

I hope everyone else can enjoy these as well. :)

Indigo Foam is probably my favourite Apple wallpaper. So many fond memories of putting that on my 1999 Blueberry iMac and later on my 2002 Titanium PowerBook G4. I wonder if I can put that on my retina MacBook Pro when it arrives?!
