Wallpaper wont stay, reverts back

Whenever I change my wallpaper it goes right back to my previous wallpaper everytime I log back in or restart. When I open preferences to and change to fit to screen or fill screen it goes back again to new wallpaper I set.


If that makes sense. Anyone else experience this??

i5 21.5 iMac if that makes any difference

Same problem here. I have no solution. So I just gave up. I also noticed that when I restart only restart not cold boot that my system will not start up it will stay on a white screen with a flashing circle with a cross through it. Off topic I know
