iphone 3gs restore help required

Hi All,

A newbie here, but i have been following this forum for some while and taught its time for me to register!

Anyways, i have a iphone 3gs on custom 5.0.1 Firmware with baseband 6.15.00 - now the problem is that someone updated via itunes accidentally without realising that it will affect the device. I believe it's updated to 5.1 and doesn't go past activation.

However, luckily the SHSH are saved for the device as i've checked TinyUmbrella. I've ran TSS Server in Tiny Umbrella and did a shift+restore in itunes to restore back to custom firmware 5.0.1. But it doesn't seem to be doing anything?

Any help appreciated.

Brilliant - thanks for that, back up & running again on custom frmware 5.0.1!

I'm just going to download corona untethered for 5.0.1 & also ultrasn0w for the unlock.

UPDATE:- i've just noticed my carier is still searching.... looks like i'll have to reflash the ipad baseband using redsnow? any advice?
