Upgrading 24" iMac from hybrid drive to SSD to solve hum

Hey guys,

I recently posted that I had upgraded my 24" iMac (early 2009) with a Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive. However, I was left with some doubts especially due to the pertaining and annoying hum my iMac kept generating. I decided to change my setup once again, inspired by the comments of "All Taken" on my previous post.

Spoiler alert: I got rid of my oh so annoying hum... finally! Bliss!
