Removing SkyDrive from dock
Hey Guys,
I am probably being really stupid and just can't see what I am doing wrong but I am trying to remove the SkyDrive icon from the dock but keep it still running in the background like the Dropbox/Google Drive client. Microsoft gave these instruction on here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...llReplies#tabs I have typed this into terminal: 'defaults write /Applications/SkyDrive.app/Contents/Info.plist LSUIElement 1' which is what is on that page but still can't get rid of the icon. Can anybody point out to me what I am doing wrong please? Thanks

Are you trying to completely remove it? Or just from the dock?

Try stopping the service. Then drag the dock icon off the dock onto the desktop. Then restart the service.
