We went to Disney last week and it was warm. Not too hot, but warm.
Anyway, was noticing that the phone was getting buggy when I was feeling the most heat. Display anomolies and such.

Anyone else have this happen or do I have a bigger problem with my phone?

I haven't experienced this before but back when I had a 3GS, it shut itself off when it was too hot (in the sun, just way too damn hot, etc).

If the device gets too hot it will show:

Then it will shut off so that it can lower it's temp before damaging something internally and you should put it away from the sun in a less hot place.

Yup, actually just got to see this screen over the weekend. Was out side with my phone laying under a blanket playing pandora. Music stopped and sure enough i saw that screen. 10 min later it was fine and cooled off.

It's not your phone, just a standard iPhone thing. Mine did it this weekend when I was using it to play music as I did yard work. Started the phone in the shade, but as the sun moved, I failed to move the phone...🙄
