Hey guys,
My Mac Pro 2010 is below my desk, 20cm to the right of my mouse pad.
Why in the world do i get mouse lag?
Ever so slight, but much more than when the mouse is right next to the Mac Pro.

Bluetooth - range: 10m.

So why does a 70cm distance create such an input lag compared to just 40cm?

Thanks :)

Any wireless devices close to your Mac? If my iPad is updating apps I get lag. Turn off mouse and back on again and all good.

I have magic mouse lag when I am on a desk with metal on it. And that metal is in between my quad G5 and the wood table top. I moved my rig to an all wood desk and the lag goes away. BT works on line of sight i guess, os if there is a metal in between it acts like a shield.

I ended up disconnecting the internal bluetooth and getting a Bluetooth USB dongle. So much better.
