I have an old MBP that got a new HD and I need to put Snow Leopard on it. Only problem is its over 6GB! I can't burn that to a disk. I don't have a thumb/USB drive. Can I hook up the MBP to my iMac and move over the Snow Leopard file I just downloaded? Please help!

If you bought it, you wouldn't be burning it to a disc...

Lol, I don't care about piracy. Open the DMG, and run the installer file. I'm pretty sure that's all there is to it.

I have lion on my iMac. Theres no OS on the old MBP because the HD went bad. How do I start up the old MBP and move the file from my iMac to the MBP? It's too large to fit on a DVD. I also do not have a thumb drive.

How did you download Snow Leopard? Where did you download it from? Can't find it on Apple's site.

Use Target Disk Mode.
