This lens is a must have. Nikon has been on FIRE:

The bokeh is delicious. Not purple fringing that plagued my old D version. Contrast is excellent.

I agree, that bokeh is delicious. What wonderful shots, and the lens seems to be equally as good!

I do wonder why you didn't shoot at f/1.8 that woulda blurred the background to bits

Because I wanted to test it at its optimal sharpness at f/4. 1.8's will be done on my newborn this weekend.
