PowerPC Midi Networking?

Hello.
I am thinking of purchasing G4 12" for using PowerPC version of Ableton. It should run 10.5.8 if I am not mistaken and I was wondering if it does support Midi Networking via Audio Midi Setup. This is available in 10.5, right?

In case I am unable to obtain 10.5, can I network MIDI on older systems as well? Thank you.

What do you mean by MIDI networking?

Sending MIDI signals between two machines over Wifi or LAN while using Audio MIDI setup.
It's very easy to do on Intel Macs but I am unsure about PowerPC-Intel setup.
