ipad 1 maps and remove pins help ?

Hi all

May be a silly one ..but i cant work it out ?

I have an ipad 1

And i am trying to remove the red pins that mark locations on a map of the uk ...but i cannot find out how ?

Can any one please explaine how to ?

If you dropped it manually, just tap the pin, then ith blue information circle, and it gives you bux to remove pin.

If you dropped one via a search, if you delete the search, it deletes the pin.
