lots of discussion about the Retina scrolling lag, with some saying major problem and others saying 1) a currently available update helps a lot, and 2) ML DP4 helps as well.
Seems like some people are trying out at the store and having different results - with some not knowing if the update has been applied. Im sure the stores won't be running or want to run ML on any of thier store machines, but
1) If I go to the store - how can I check (version number?) if the readily available update has been applied?
2) if the update has not been applied, can I get the apple store folks to apply the update while i sit there, or do they balk at that? Seems like they should do these updates, but maybe they don't like customers telling them to do their job.
