Since earlier tonite i can no longer download anything from the ibooks store or the app store or do an icloud back up, when i try to download an app all i get is waiting when the app appears on my screen, nothing will download from ibooks either. Photo stream is also not working . i have an ipod touch and it works fine

Check if one of your itunes downloads hangs. Sometimes they do.

Did you try the 'Windows-way'? Shut down and restart iPad?

Can you pause any of the waiting ones?

Also, you might want to go to airplane mode for a minute..
 
There were tons of podcast download in my itunes app 😕 i started using the new podcast app so why are there downloads in the itunes app?? that hung everything up, that new app is a mess
