This post probably has little use but I always like to voice my opinion regardless....
Everyone I know gets the entry level stock MBP 13" anyways...and the one person I know among my friends I consider "computer educated and savvy" who bought a white MacBook, everyone sort of looked at him as if he was a leopar...besides, the specs were hardly different from the entry level MBP...
White Macbook was my first Mac 3 years ago - still have it, still runs great. Its a nice looking piece of equipment, now will be viewed as a classic. Glad I was around when it was still in its prime and was able to get one. Have since moved on to a newer 13" Macbook pro. I will miss the days of the white macbook, but time marches on and all things change. Will keep this one around as a collectors item. 🙂
Kinda Creepy. I was thinking they would do that when I was browsing the online store on Friday. I was in the Apple store today and I didn't see any white macs besides the ones being repaired in the genius bar. About time though. The look was outdated in the early 2000s. 😱
Neither, to any measurable degree, simply by having the RAM installed. If adding RAM reduces page outs, it would reduce power demands, as read/writes to a drive require more power than read/writes in RAM. There are many other factors that impact your battery life to a much greater degree.
