Question about organizing videos with iPhoto and iTunes

I've been importing a lot of videos from my digital camera and my iPhone onto my Mac. How do you guys prefer to view your videos on Mac AND ALSO the other devices you sync it to (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)? Is it better to import all of them into iPhoto rather than the videos section of iTunes? My iPhoto library has almost 6,000 pictures in it and sometimes it loads slowly or not at all. Plus iTunes allows you to view titles to the videos on your other devices, whereas you can't see those titles in iPhoto unless you're on your Mac. Thoughts, opinions?
