Samsung can sue Apple for LTE patents.

Also, he seems to think that "paraphrasing" means "removing all of the asterisks that were in there for some reason so it looks more legit".
 
3G Tech has been out for long and there is a standard spec for it, whereas LTE is still relatively new, and there isnt a global standard, so it's making hard for FRAND argument.
Samsung knows about it and waiting to pull a trigger when a new iphone w/ LTE capability announces.

1. Any LTE related patents would have to be licensed under FRAND terms.
2. Apple bought the Nortel LTE patents and will happily countersue.

Only if they are quoting it. It's just bad manners to steal someone else's content and not give them credit. The OP is simply copying and pasting from other sites with no reference to those sites.
 
Two problems I see with this.

One is FRAND, and the other is patent exhaustion, which gives Apple shelter from patent trolling provided the source of their chips is already properly licensed.
