Find my Friends app keeps crashing

But if I delete it and reinstall it, do I have to send request to my friends again and wait til they accept me then to see their locations?

Would like to know this as well, although i feel my impatience will lead me to answer this question myself before anyone responds with a helpful answer.....😕
