if you buy a sim free 5 direct from apple will apple give you the appropriate nano sim for your current provider? or do you have to instead get a nano sim from your provider direct?

Was only going to get the 5 if it was a massive upgrade which it isn't at all to me.

I'll be sticking with my SGS3 and 4S, and that £30 increase doesn't help either.

If anything the new iPod Touch has impressed me a ******** more than the 5.

im with you on that one! I will wait for next year when the iphone 5s comes out! ;)

Ow. Bloody hope not, ive got £600 saved now for pre order. If its more than that i'll have to wait until i get paid later this month which means ill miss out until they ship more. Bit annoying if the 32gb is anything more than £599. The last two were that much.

My wife is upgrading on Friday. I am looking at unlocked, but not sure how to go about getting a nano-sim and seeing how orange will move me onto a LTE plan - too early to know these things I guess.

Any news on nano sims from UK companies. I remember some talk of vodafone, but would have thought that the others would post info on ordering a nano straight after the announcement. I'm on a 12 month sim contract with 3, so need to ensure I can get hold of a nano sim.

Are those prices confirmed or are you just guessing?

my bet is £629. There is usually an increase of £100 per higher Gb version.

guessing of course but the 16Gb is confirmed at £529 as per the Apple store.

At the risk of sounding like a noob, what do you guys mean by 'EE' (in my mind I keep reading it as EastEnders lol)?

Also, does anyone have a confirmed price for the 32gb Model. At £529 for the 16GB, i'm not too happy (was hoping for £500 like it was for the iPhone 4 16GB).

EE - EverythingEverywhere, new network, has LTE right now
No confirmed price for the 32/64Gb but Apple Edu store says From £529 so its assumed that the 16Gb is £529.

I'm on Orange and due my upgrade, so waiting for pre-order info on orange's site.... hoping that pre-order will be before 9am so i don't have to try and do it at work.

And how would we go about getting an EE iPhone so we can benefit from 4G?

EE - EverythingEverywhere, new network,

easy, EE is not a new network, it's the parent company of orange/tmobile, so switch :)
