I hope Apple does some polishing on the iLife and iWork apps. They just lag for me so much, even when I only have iMovie and iTunes open. Oh and by the way, aren't we overdue for major updates for iLife and iWork?

My update only 4.4 MB...
I wonder why so many different download sizes?

gig-gag
I remember having a full working version of Microsoft Word that fit onto a floppy disk. My whole hard first hard drive (80 megs) early Mac had Illustrator 88 and Photoshop and other games on it-MacPaint and Hypercard etc. So, why is it that these days programmers can not make slimmer software-this is going backward not forward. Gigs for upgrades c'mon.

A good thing?
We really should be making much more of a stink about Apple ruining really
good products, iMovie being only the latest. Sorry..'Save As' should re-appear, pronto. It's like Microsoft with ".docx" 1. Appleworks 2. Final Cut Pro 3. iMovie It has to be the ego of the lead development team.... they has to have their piss on the rock, so (they) replace a good product with an inferior product just so it's their creation. Forget that it's a piece of crap. What gets me is how Apple, who is supposed to be quite concerned with the user experience, takes a 'high hat' attitude when confronted with these stunning blunders. I have to keep old macs alive just to run these things, and test updates. - Appleworks could've ultimately been an Office beater. - There's a long list of real movies cut on Final Cut Pro. Maybe the people from Avid started slashing tires in the Apple parking lot. - iMovie is the most incomprehensible ruination of all...gone is the intuitive Fisher Price toolset, replaced by some talentless hack-borne dollop of crap. |

I can't even get the danged thing to update. Keeps telling me I need a different apple id. I don't need a gig more of iMovie anyway.
