Really quick download times. iPad 2 took less than 10 minutes and iPhone 4 just took a little longer.

how about Apple map guys, I rely on them when cycling for 40-50 miles, I didn't want to stuck midl of nowhere with new "3D" maps

No, but you should be backed up to iTunes or iCloud just in case anything happens to go wrong.

Will do. Has been going for about 5 minutes, fluctuating between 12 minutes remaining and less than a minute remaining. I assume this is going up as more people get access to it...
