Hello Everyone!!!

The line at Briarwood will form at the main entrance doors between J.C. Penneys and Macy's.

Keep an eye on www.facebook.com/briarwoodmall for future updates.

Is there anyone already up there that can keep an eye on the lines as we get closer to Friday? About how early do they usually form at the Briarwood store? I still haven't decided on whether or not I'll be driving up instead of waiting at the local Verizon store. If I do, what time do you think I should get there to pick up a white 16GB?

ColonelSmith---Security reports they see no one waiting in line at this time. And so you know, I am not waiting in line. I just checked on it for you.

For the iPhone 4S release, the first customer arrived in line at 10:30 PM, Thursday night, 10/13. At 1:40 AM, on 10/14, there were 9 customers waiting. By 7:50 AM, the line for The Apple Store had grown to 98 customers.

How Early Can I Line Up?

Briarwood's policy is that no customers will be allowed to wait on property for the iPhone 5 Release prior to 8:00 AM on Thursday morning (9/20/12). Anyone waiting before that time will politely be asked to leave the property. Also, fold-up chairs will be allowed but no tents.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thank you.

bkoldys--Here's my thoughts on this. You had some great ones.

1. Chair-folding chairs only please. Also, they will not be allowed in the mall once you enter.
2. iPhone (old one)-upgraded to IOS 6 hopefully by then.
3. Lots of warm clothes under a good water proof rain coat (this will also keep you warm). Eddie Bauer has some nice ones. There's a 30-40% chance of rain, but hey it's Michigan.
4. Umbrella-Yes, but try not to poke the person next to you in the face.
5. Credit Card-Buy an Apple Gift Card prior to the event. Briarwood sells Gift Cards at the Guest Services Booth also.
6. Books-I've found iBooks a great way to read books.
7. Angry Birds
8. Podcasts-I've recently discovered these and listen to them while driving to and from work. It's a great way to kill time on my favorite subject (Walt Disney World). Downloading off a Wi-Fi is cheaper.
9. Music-a great way to jam the night away. Personal earbuds please.

Just my thoughts. See you Friday morning.

On my way out to come up and join you all in A2, I decided to drive by my local Verizon store and saw no one standing in line. So, I ended up waiting there and snagged a white model right at 8AM. How did you guys do?
