the Pine Garage(between Macys and Lord & Taylor), upper level entrance is closest to the Apple store. Anyone, please give us an update Or post pics of the line so we can prepare

There were around 50 people at 3am. Line has probably doubled now at least.

They will be issuing cards soon to choose which color/storage soon.

Good to hear. I have 2 16GB phones being delivered (out for delivery now), but wanted to swap them for 32GB. By the time UPS drops them off, maybe there will be no line and still 32GB phones left for me to exchange them. I didn't want to wait in a big line to do an exchange.

I overslept so took a shot going to the Verizon here in Columbia. Got in line at 7:55 and had my 64GB black slate by 8:30.

Unfortunately neither the Verizon store nor the Apple store have any additional Lightning cables.

Did you happen to see the Apple store line when you were leaving? If it was small/going down early, gives me a better chance of going in and out later, assuming they still have 32GB phones left.

If you are familiar with the entrance from the parking garage closest to the Apple Store, the line was still almost to the entrance from the Apple Store when I walked out of there around 9:50 after checking for cables.

Ok, that's not terrible. Previous launches had the line beyond Macy's throughout the evening.

FYI. Columbia store now has TONS of the charging cables if you need them.
