Will Apple make an iPhone 5 case?

I seem to recall in the last couple of months that there was a mention on this site or another that Apple would be producing a case for iPhone 5.

Is there any indication that this will happen?
 
I'm guessing no, unless scratchgate develops more, but that seems unlikely. The bumper was to mitigate antenna issues and the smartcase for the iPad is very functional and not just another case.
