Hello -
I've noticed huge downloads when I wasn't home and at first thought my network had been infiltrated - until I noticed that the 663 Mb downloads coincided with the scheduled maintenance power failures.
After unplugging and re-plugging my Apple TV, I've noticed another 663 MB download. This obviously isn't an update, or it would have just done it once.
How can I (a) know what the apple TV is dowloading and (b) turn off ALL automatic downloads on the apple TV (I didn't find the option in the settings menu)
Thank you
UPDATE: could it be the screensaver ? I found that the screensaver gets its images from National Geographic. Does it download these every time ? When the ATV turns on, it stays awake for 5 minutes, goes to the screen saver for about an hour, then goes to sleep. Could that have been my problem ?
