Dock connector to spdif

Hey everyone, been having a hard time finding this so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone has done this before.

I'm trying to hook up an ipod touch to a fiio e17 dac. It's got a spdif input that I'd like to take advantage of. Does anyone know if such a cable exists or will I have to go the route of getting a larger dock that has an spdif output on it.

At the very least I'm looking for something that will let me bypass the headphone amp on the device.

I'm looking for something a bit more portable. I've found cables that will bypass headphone amp but they are converting the signal to analog, I'm just trying to see if anything exists that will give me a digital line output from the iPod. I have a feeling though that I'm chasing a ghost here.
