Is there any difference between the two games in content or graphics between the Mac and PC?

I wonder about the graphics mainly, as typically PC games mostly use DirectX which is Microsoft only and OSX typically uses OpenGL. It would seem rather hard to get a graphical match using the two different systems.

Not that much

Content wise, exactly the same..... Graphics wise... big difference. It all depends on what type of card you have. for a mac its either Nvidia (2000-2010) or AMD (2011-2012) Mac OSX does't use Direct X11 or X10, so gameplay could be different. Bioshock, Deux revolution play well on my Mid 2010 15" Macbook pro on medium-high settings.

OpenGL has some clever things, however most devs tend to avoid it because it is rather.... glitchy. DirectX however delivers superior performance and is much more stable.

Frames and rendering will be noticeably smoother and higher on a PC.

OpenGL is much better. Look at what Valve did. 220 FPS under Windows for Left 4 Dead 2. They did a tiny amount of optimisation for Linux, and got 330 FPS under OpenGl, and then 310 or so FPS under OpenGL Windows.

Mac and PC players can't play together. biggest reason to NOT buy the Mac version.
