iPad mini iPad Mini - UK Pre Order

Well I managed to order the 16Gb in white as I wanted but it doesn't ship for 2 weeks and then 2 to 7 days for delivery. So not much chance of Nov 2nd for me!

Ordered mine bang on 8. Why on earth does it state shipping 2 weeks?

Seems the iphone app is up before the web store!

Thats the other half's Christmas present ordered. iPhone app as usual seems to work first.

I just used the app to order mine. 16gb White wifi. It says 2 weeks in most areas but I imagine it will come on 2nd Nov.

Same here, my confirmation screen shows 08:02, most of that delay was me reading the accessories page (none selected) and then struggling to get Continue to work on the engraving option page (no engraving selected). Amazed how quickly the Apple Store app worked

32Gb Black wifi with product red smart cover.

Amazed at how quick the app was with Express shipping turned on. Had ordered even before the store had come up on the Mac.

Definitely the way forward.

Well thats mine ordered. Delivery 2 weeks though for white and silver. Black and slate delivers on 2nd November.

Having seen that the white 16Gb one I initially ordered won't be delivered for about 3 weeks I have ordered a black one as well because that says delivery on the 2nd.

Hope I can cancel the white one. It won't let me yet but hopefully will allow it later!

Hmmm... I checked and mine definitely says 'delivers 2/11 in most areas' - and I am in one of those areas!

Edit: Oh! I get it now... Blacks on 2/11, Whites are '2 Weeks' - bummer for those who wanted a white on launch!

And now the long wait begins (3G).

I got my confirmation email at 8:01am. Shows how fast the app is.

Confirmation screen on the iphone app at 8:02 but saying 2 week delivery (white and silver 16GB). I hope I'm not waiting another week.
