Radio Shack iPhone 5 pre order

Radio Shack is starting to get really smooth with their iphone 5 sales. I put my name on a list to be called when they had it in stock. I received a call today from RS and they said that they have 1 iphone 5 left and that if I guaranteed them that I bought apple care they would skip the person ahead of me that agreed to buy apple care. I didn't believe this because they should just sell it to that person then. He said they didn't want to wait for them to come in. Definitely not going to radioshack anymore
 
It is very frustrating, I'm so lucky I hunted one down in the first week. RS is a joke there horrible especially with there customer service. I feel like I just handed them fifty bucks
 
RS actually had the stones to send me a $5 gift card in the mail today,good instore until 11/11 on any puchase over $5.😕
 
iPhone 5 from RS

Having a hard time. pre-ordered 4 iPhone 5's, 32g on 9/17. Still waiting. Staff at RS very nice but not getting the phones and they don't seem to be able to figure out why. Last week, they asked me to call Verizon (set up service as we are switching from T-mo) and Verizon said they have approved the application but it is up to RS to get the phones and then they will activate the verizon service. I have the VZN iconic device reservation # and a pre-order confirmation # but I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?
 
Hmm...I placed my PO on 9/18 and never got a "pre-order" confirmation number. Again RS has no clue as to when Verizon devices will arrive. What part of the country are you in?

It turns out that RS never even ordered my phone (on the 17th of September), just sold be gift cards. The manager said he would try to locate phones, but now says just come in and get your money back. RS is a joke.
 
Sorry to hear that I had a feeling my RS did the same thing so when I didn't get it on launch day I went on a mission looking for it. It took almost five days but I'm glad I did, I would have been furious with the manager that took my order
 
I walked into RS on 10/20 on rosecrans st in San Diego across from where I am staying I asked the employee at the desk do you hve any iPhone 5's and he said no but I can order one in for you we get them every week. And I said okay order me one! He said I would have it next week, but on my customer receipt It says I won't get the phone shipped till 11/16 😵 the same date it said on apple!!! So I was like wtf. Anyone else get told this???, If I don't get my phone this week soon I'm gonna be pissed, that would mean the employee at RS lied to me. I'm going in today to check it out, wish me luck! I'm dieing to have the iphone 5! My iphone 4's screen is broken and I can't stand it any longer.
 
I'd be surprised if you have one within the week. They tell you that and then they'll tell you that the receipt clearly states 11/16. They have no problem spitting out lies to their customers. They are a very dishonest retailer. Ill never do business there again, I am still waiting for my pre order call. Good thing I found one elsewhere
