Hello

I am trying to use one of the trailers that are in iMovie, but was wondering...

The use of animatics is to place a video in place with the concept reflected in the animatic... if it is a person, put a video of a person and so on.... right?

What if instead of adding a video I want to add a photo in that frame, I am trying to put a photo in it but it just doesn't allow me to.

Any ideas?

To add a photo inside movie trailers, you need to make a separate iMovie Project for your photos. Then, make each photo 5 or 6 seconds long. Then, export the project. Reimport the exported clip back into iMovie. Then, you can put the (slideshow like) sections of the movie clip into your iMovie Project.

There is also a youtube tutorial showing how to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZu55URqQUM
