I just picked up a retina MBP, and have an iPhoto library that is about 460GB in size. I have an external HDD, but I'd rather have the iPhoto library available on the network (don't want to walk around with the HDD).

What's the best way to do this? I have a Win8 server I use for sharing media throughout my home and a Linksys E4200 with a USB port.

I've installed HFS software on my server before, but it shows the iPhoto library as a folder, and dunno how that would work (as an alias)... so please help!
