iPad: Issue with 6.0.1

Just updated my ipad 3 to 6.0.1 and a black line appeared across screen. Has anyone got the same problem? Is downgrading the only option and how to do it?

Haven't noticed a single difference except the version number since I ran the update last night on 3 iPads and 2 iPhones.

There is no way to downgrade an iPad3 from 6.0.1 back to 5.x.x or 6.0 now that Apple no longer signs the firmware.
