camera sports mode

is there any apps out there that will take a decent moving picture? I do agility with my dog (think crufts but at afar lower level) and would like to take some action shots but using the standard camera they are always blurry on the moving dog. Will something like camera+ do this? The don't seem to mention it in the description, so I don't know if it a limitation if the actual camera.
